About the writing contest? The one Neil Gaiman being one of the judges? I'm still doin it (making a horror short story, just in time for Halloween) but I'm in a fix because I have little inkling what does 1958 Tondo, Manila Philippines looks like! Thus my scenery ain't that convincing :stupidme:

My ma said that I'll just have to look at Back to the Future I as a reference but it's not THAT helpful. Besides, the setting there is 1955, not 1958. Also, that is set in USA, not Philippines, so I'm in a bind :faint:

Right now, me and :iconyukiurameshi: is so into Houshin Engi right now. In fact, I am so into Taikoubou that when I took the quiz, I was compatible with him! YAY!!! :date: Ha. I'm that shallow, am I?

After I fix up yuki's Nataku pic, maybe I'll be workin on a Taikoubou pic later on :heart:

Neil Gaiman is a judge at a contest you wanna enter? Damn girl! I love him! (Mostly because his book, American Gods, just rocks ^w^ Too bad Osiris isn't in it, that would have been nice)

Yup :D Right now, after replying to all my messages (my, ain't they a month late ^^; ) I'm gonna work on my story. It's a horror story (perfect for the Halloween coming in) and I already have the outline made. The only problem resides is I don't have any idea as to how the scenery of 1958 Philippines look like! It's hard to find things in the the net. I think that I have to go to the National Library to look for pics, but I have to commute to Manila, and that's a city away! This is getting to be pricey :-(

Me too :w00t!: I find his Death and Dream characters very sweet :cuddle: and the Good Omens book is just hilarious! :rofl: Yeah, it would have been nice if Osiris is there, but he only included Toth and Anubis, didn't he? :-?

The deadline of the contest is on November 3rd, and I'm at my wit's end as to find pics of 1958 Manila, Philippines. The scenery of the horror story I'm making isn't very convincing, and I'm trying to recreate a grisly murder that happened in Tondo, Manila, in 1958. I might have to go to the National Library in Manila, and it's a city away! This is getting to be costly and I'm at my wit's end :faint:
